Every gathering runs on volunteers. You might greet guests at the door, hang an exhibition, help a performer backstage or keep the children's corner busy. No Indian roots needed, and you are welcome to bring family and friends. Tell us when you're free and what you enjoy, and we'll find you a spot.

Who can volunteer for Wonderful India?
Anyone aged 16 and older (volunteers under 18 will require a parent/guardian signature on the waiver). We welcome students, community members, and culture enthusiasts looking to gain experience in arts administration, stage management, and event operations.
What volunteer roles are available?
Volunteers assist across several key teams:
- Hospitality & Guest Services
- Guest check-in, info desk, seating assistance, and audience support.
- Backstage & Artist Support
- Assisting stage managers, green room hospitality, and artist escorting.
- Hands-On Craft & Activity Stations
- Facilitating community art stations and assisting with workshops.
- Media & Production Crew
- Assisting with social media content capture, photography, and audio/stage hands.
What is the time commitment for volunteers?
Volunteers can sign up for single-day festival shifts (typically 3-4 hours) or assist across multiple intermediary events within a cycle. Shift schedules are distributed one week prior to each event.
What perks do volunteers receive?
Volunteers receive complimentary refreshments during festival shifts, free entry to the festival event outside of their shift timing, and community service verification hours (upon request).
